It's that time of year again

What’s the worst (Christmas) gift you’ve ever received?

Screenshot 2015-12-13 21.58.25I am not a very Christmassy person to English standards. My Dutch background means we focussed on the family, the food, the being together. In the UK it’s more about the parties and the presents. It feels like Christmas takes 5 months: buying the presents 2 months before, paying off the bills until 3 months later…I don’t really get that.

Anyway, despite people’s best intentions they do get it wrong. Ebay is awash with the unwanted gifts in January.

What is your worst Christmas gift or any other gift you have ever received?

Mine was a cooking set.

I hate cooking.
