Women and people who earn less are more likely to have delays in brain tumour diagnosis

The Brain Tumour Charity has found that women and patients with a low income are more likely to have a delay in diagnosis brain tumours. It was found that women are often told that they are attention seeking or are just tired when complaining of symptoms of a brain tumour and were twice more likely than men to wait over a year to see their GP.
