Pregnant women from Latin America begging for abortion pills

Thousands of pregnant women from countries in South America heavily affected by the Zika virus (which has been linked to microencephaly in the fetus) have been sending emails to a Canadian health group begging for abortion pills. Some of these women have been tested positive for the virus, whilst others fear they have it and will give birth to a child with the condition. Abortion pills are illegal in most countries in South America, hence the desperate acts of these women.
