My Baby, Psychosis and Me

The symptoms of post partum psychosis include hallucinations and delusions.  As part of a series of documentaries, the BBC are showing a program highlighting the lives of mothers who have been affected by post partum psychosis. One in 500 mothers suffer from this condition, which (for example) can lead to thinking that your baby is the son of God. It will also touch upon bipolar disorder, depression and the treatments for psychosis, including electroconvulsive therapy (ECT).
