Holly Brockwell, a 30 year old UK woman, has won a four year battle to convince the UK Health Service to sterilise her. She says she is adamant that she does not want children and does not want the monthly stress worrying about the possibility of being pregnant. She said that it would cost less to sterilise her than give her 20 years of contraceptives.
Interviewed on UK TV this morning, she said her mother did not want children and if she had her time again, she would not have done it. Hollys father convinced her mother to have four children.
