Global Women Connected national-fertility-awareness-week2016Today, one in five people in Europe face fertility challenges. Yet stigma and lack of awareness mean this comes as a shock to many attempting to conceive. Fertility Europe, the association of patient organisations involved with fertility issues in Europe, has announced European Fertility Week. During this week (which started on the 31st October and runs until the 6th November 2016), national campaigns will be held, both online and at member organisations, to raise awareness and promote advocacy efforts regarding fertility and infertility.

All the actions taking place during European Fertility Week will be promoted through the communication channels of Fertility Europe (website, forum, social networks). Afterwards, the whole campaign experience will be summarised into an informational brochure, which will serve as a guideline for sharing experiences and good practices. The campaign will be promoted through a common visual identity under the hashtag #EuropeanFertilityWeek.

If you have experienced infertility, please share your story, get in touch. Promote awareness and share the burden.
